Securing Women – Empowering Lives

The “Securing Women – Empowering Lives” event held on 7th March 2025 jointly by CAPSI and ASIS at the Constitution Club of India was a resounding success, drawing a large audience and highlighting the critical contributions of women in the security sector. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of 100 emerging Lady Security Leaders and Security Guards who were awarded for their dedication and service.

The highlight of the event was the launch of the NARI RAKSHAK TEAM, by Sh Devesh Srivastava IPS Spl Commissioner of Delhi Police and Ms Akansha Yadav IPS DCP. An intigrated initiative aimed at training and deploying trusted ecosystem to provide most effective response to the Women in Distress.

Keynote speakers included Sh Devesh Srivastava IPS Spl Commissioner of Delhi Police, Ms Akansha Yadav IPS DCP, SPUWAC , Lt Gen Ashok Shivane, Wg Cdr Sonika Tanwar, Ms Asha Pathania , Adv Nehya Chaudhary, Major Kh Deepi Devi, Ms Misha Dange Ms Rekha Goirola Ms Veena Gupta and Mahesh Singh Chauhan President ASIS Delhi . These prominent figures in the security industry shared their insights on the significance of women’s empowerment in the field. The success stories of the awardees served as inspiration, showcasing their resilience and the positive impact they have made in their respective roles. A MoU was signed between CAPSI and Kavach Defence System.
Sh Bhagwan Shankar IAS ( R) former Adnl Chief Secretary Sikkam Government and Sh Anil Pratham IPS former DGP Gujarat Police Sh Mahesh Sharma Secretry General , Sh Harvindra Singh RVP ASIS .Sh Sudhir Bhasin Vice President Brig Baldev Singh SVP Sh Anil Dhawan Chairman Tech Committee of CAPSI graced the event .

The “Securing Women – Empowering Lives” event not only recognized the efforts of individual women but also fostered a sense of community and solidarity among attendees. It reinforced the commitment to creating a safe environment where women can thrive in various professional capacities.
