Ms Kriti Garg IAS of MHA invited CAPSI to discuss PSARA related issues

Ms Kriti Garg IAS of MHA invited CAPSI to discuss PSARA related issues. MHA is planning to conduct a comprehensive review of the PSARA so that all issues of the industry can be addressed appropriately. The idea as explained by MHA designated bureaucrat is to ensure Ease of Doing Business for growth and better governance .

CAPSI requesting MHA to conduct this exercise for the larger benefit of the PSI and good governance. A representation was submitted to the Home Minister and Home Secretary .

Resultantly , the exercise has started. The meeting went on for 1.30 hours. CAPSI raised all their pain points like GST, Training , Payment by Clients, amendments in PSARA and its rules and future of PSI. Ms Garg was very receptive and supporting . She also informed that the grand review of the PSARA is being undertaken on the instructions of Hon’ble Home Minister and the time given is “ Within One Month” Two officials of the rank of Directors of MHA has been assigned to work on this assignment.

CAPSI asked to remain in contact with MHA designated officials so that the exercise can be concluded within the stipulated timeframe.
