CAPSI and ASIS signed MoU to work jointly to secure Corporates & Communities.

New Delhi, 27th January 2025: In a significant step toward fostering collaboration in the security industry, the ASIS Society of Protection Profession Chapter 207 (New Delhi) (ASIS New Delhi Chapter 207) and the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation and advance mutual objectives in the private security sector.

Under this MoU, the two organizations—recognized as leading trade security associations in India—will jointly promote the exchange of information and cooperation in the voluntary business of private security services and have agreed to work together on areas of shared interest and expertise to enhance the professional standards and knowledge base of the security industry.

The MoU was signed by Shri. Mahesh Singh Chauhan, Chairman ASIS Delhi Chapter and Kunwar Vikram Singh, Chairman CAPSI in the presence of Shri. Girish Kaushik, Vice Chairman, Ms. Jyotsana Bhalla, Secretary, Ms. Garima Goswamy, Treasurer from ASIS Delhi Chapter. From CAPSI Shri. Anil Puri, National Vice President, Shri. SudhirBhasin, National Vice President, Shri. Sanjeev Paul, National Vice President, Shri. Mahesh Sharma, Secretary General, Shri Anil Dhawan, Chairman Technical Committee, Shri. Vikram Bhadwar, Co Chairman, Code of Ethics and Compliance Committee, Shri Allroy Collaco, Director Projects, SSSDC and Ms. Rinku Lamba, Executive Director, CAPSI and Ms Lydia Lipcha Manager Projects witnessed the ceremony.

Key Objectives

The collaboration between ASIS New Delhi Chapter 207 and CAPSI aims to achieve the following objectives:

1. Exchange of Knowledge: Sharing non-classified information on security training and advancements in video analytics.

2. Collaborative Opportunities: Exploring new opportunities for further cooperation to benefit members of both organizations.

3. Mutual Participation: Encouraging member participation in security events

Both Parties have committed to working in good faith and fostering a spirit of joint cooperation to achieve these shared goals.

Preliminary Understanding

It is acknowledged that the MoU serves as a foundation for collaboration .

Kunwar Vikram Singh Chairman CAPSI said that the signing of MoU is an event of historic importance for the entire private Security Sector and the corporate world. He said that now is the time for security professional to work as “ Profit Protectors “ in place of loss prevention.

Sh Mahesh Singh Chauhan President ASIS 207 Chapter said that the close partnership between both organisations will have positive impact in creating secure ecosystems most essential to align with Surakshit & Viksit Bharat -2047 mission of Prime Minister.
