Launch of Taskforce on Women Security

In a landmark move to prioritize women’s safety, the Joint Security Innovation Centre has proudly announced the formation of the Task Force on Women’s Security. This initiative, unveiled by Shri Kunwar Vikram Singh, Chairman of CAPSI (Central Association of Private Security Industry), aims to devise innovative strategies and implement effective measures to ensure the safety and security of women.
The task force will be spearheaded by the distinguished Wing Commander Sonika Tanwar, supported by an accomplished team of professionals, including Veena Gupta, Asha Pathania, Adv Neyha Chaudhary, Rekha Gairola, and Rinku Lamba. Their collective expertise and dedication are expected to drive meaningful change in addressing women’s security concerns.


The inaugural meeting of the task force was held on January 10 at the Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg. During the meeting, key issues surrounding women’s security were discussed, and the groundwork was laid for actionable plans and strategies to create a safer environment for women across the country.
